Missed Opportunities is a short film that grapples with the choices of our past, and how the grass (or in this case, egg) maybe not always be greener on the other side. In the not too distant future, a woman and her son purchase a egg-shaped device that allows one to speak to their past self. Regretting never following through with her artistic ambitions, the mother tells her past self to pursue art… no matter what.

The film was considered Best Of at the Boston 48 Hour Film Festival. It was nominated for eleven awards, including Best Score (done by yours truly). It went on to win two for Best Editing and Best Title Sequence.

The completed film is free to watch below. It was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve worked on in quite a while; special thanks to the entire crew, as well as the Boston 48 Hour Film Festival for putting on such a great event!
